SAVE THE DATE – The next Ladies’ Tea & Basket Auction is June 1st, 2019!

Our annual Ladies Tea was a great success, and bigger (and better) than ever!  Thanks to the fine young women of Girl Scout Troop #30402, the fine young men of Boy Scout Troop #57, and a smattering of kitchen volunteers, we once again provided a lovely afternoon of food and gambling bidding on baskets bountiful with…all kinds of stuff.

We love doing events; getting out there and listening to people’s stories, sharing their knowledge of the past, and providing answers to their history questions is one of our favorite things.  Most of the time it’s easy and we can get by with a few people – like when we have a table at Miller’s Farm during Halloween, for example.  But for entertaining 120 guests, it requires more manpower.  Thankfully, some great folks stepped up and lent a hand to make the Tea happen, and we are extremely grateful for their time.

It never ceases to amaze us how well everything comes together.  The food and baskets, the table settings, and the teamwork all pay off in an afternoon of happiness for all.
